Book Post and Other Book News 30.07.21

Wow!!!! I have had a very lucky week for review requests and NetGalley approvals, as well as receiving my book order from @Bertsbooks.

Berts Books Order:

I had built up some points on my Berts books account and I had a Β£5 national book token, so I just had to place an order. I love to find new authors to read, so apart from the Lisa Jewell book the rest are from authors new to me:

πŸ’œThe Secrets of Strangers – Charity Norman

πŸ’œThe Dinner Guest – B.P. Walter

πŸ’œCall me Star Girl – Louise Beech

πŸ’œHis & Hers – Alice Feeney

πŸ’œThe Silence – Susan Allott

πŸ’œThirty Nothing – Lisa Jewell (next in my Lisa Jewell subscription)

NetGalley approvals:

I decided to request 10 more ARC books from NetGalley not really expecting to get approvals for many, and so far, I have had approval for 5.

Luckily, I looked at the publishing dates and only chose a couple from each month, so I will have enough time to read.

The New Home by Chris Merritt ARC e-book copy

We are all liars by Carys Jones ARC e-book copy

Review Requests:

I am extremely honoured to be approached for 2 review requests this week:

George the Orphan Crow and the Creatures of Blossom Valley by Helen Fox

I received a gifted paperback copy of this book for my review directly from the author. The cover of this book is beautiful, and I am really looking forward to reading.

Kolkata Noir by Tom Vater

I received a gifted e-book copy of this book for my review. This book sounds interesting and consists of three novellas.

  1. Great haul! I hope you enjoy them all! I’ve been trying to stay away from NetGalley, as I have too many already, but there are so many interesting books coming out! Happy Reading
