‘Little Secret’s’ by Jennifer Hillier was the first thriller book I read this year from my Christmas book haul. I read this book in one day and that was the first time in ages that I had achieved that. Another great author to add to the to buy list.
This book follows Marin, a successful businesswoman, she lives with her husband and her son.
One day when out shopping her son goes missing, it is every Mum’s nightmare and as you can expect causes Marin a lot of distress and anxiety.
After a year of her little boy’s disappearance there is still no sign, so she decides to hire a private investigator to try and find him.
At this point Marin has lost her will to carry on with everyday life, all she wants is her son back. The private investigator soon discovers secrets involving Marin’s husband. Can she find her son and save her marriage too?
I couldn’t put this book down, it had me hooked from the first chapter. As a Mum this story really hit me hard and there was plenty of tension throughout the book which kept me wanting to know what had happened. With great twists it keeps you guessing.
Overall, an intense, kidnapping and domestic thriller which highlights a Mum’s love for her family.

Missing child stories totally hold me in their grasp for the duration. I’ve always thought it was because I’m a mom and that hits at one of my worst fears. This sounds like a good one ❤️ Great review!
