Today is my spot on the blog tour for ‘Love, Loss and Life In Between’ by Suzanne Rogerson Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources for my spot on the tour and the E-ARC I received to review.
About the Author:
Authors Bio –
Suzanne lives in Middlesex, England with her husband, two teenagers, a crazy cocker spaniel and an adopted cat that thinks she’s the boss.
Suzanne’s writing journey began at the age of twelve when she completed her first novel. She discovered the fantasy genre in her late teens and has never looked back. Giving up work to raise a family gave her the impetus to take her attempts at novel writing beyond the first draft, and she is lucky enough to have a husband who supports her dream – even if he does occasionally hint that she might think about getting a proper job one day.
Now an author of four novels including the Silent Sea Chronicles trilogy and her debut, Visions of Zarua, Suzanne hopes the dreaded ‘W’ word will never rear its ugly head again!
She loves gardening and has a Hebe (shrub) fetish. She enjoys cooking with ingredients from the garden and regularly feeds unsuspecting guests vegetable-based cakes.
She collects books, is interested in history and enjoys wandering around castles and old ruins whilst being immersed in the past. She likes to combine her love of nature and photography on family walks, but most of all she loves to escape with a great film, binge watch TV shows, or soak in a hot bubble bath with an ice cream and a book.

This lovely short story collection covers the whole theme of Love, Loss and Life. Here is a bit about each story:
A woman helping others as their soul leaves their bodies finds the answer she has been looking for.
This made me smile even though it is a story of death, it is sweet.
A mother desperate for a new start with her son. How far is she willing to go?
This is very emotional, and you can feel the mother’s desperation and anger
Emma is coming to terms with the aftermath of a terrible night, she takes to gardening and has an amazing encounter.

A Cat-shaped hole:
A furry friend makes someone’s day brighter.

I found this story a little creepy, but it is lovely and leaves you feeling uplifted.
Knocked off her Feet:
Maeve gets knocked off her feet and it leads to a meeting she won’t forget.
A sweet and romantic story.
Waking up not knowing where he is, Seth slowly starts to remember the situation he is in, can he escape?
Compared to the other stories this is quite dark and shocking.
Not Just for Christmas:
With the memories of a loving pet, a family make the decision for find a new dog to bring into their lives.
This story is very sweet.
